A video tutorial on how to unlock, open and start a 2021 - 2024 Toyota 4Runner that has a dead key battery or a remote key fob that isn't working. The beginning of the video will also apply to if the battery in your 4Runner dies. There is an emergency key located in the bottom of your Toyota 4Runner remote key fob. You will remove the key from the remote key fob and use it in key cylinder located on the Toyota 4Runner driver's door. Then you will need to start your 4Runner by first touching the remote key fob to the 4Runner stop/start button.
This tutorial will show you how to open, unlock and start a vehicle with a dead key battery or remote key fob that isn't working on the following Toyota models:
