This QSPICE introductory video demonstrates how to set up AC (alternating current) small signal frequency domain analyses. The video covers setting up the .ac simulation command statement for small signal AC analysis and the AC specification needed on the source. The video clarifies some points that can otherwise become questions or confusion. For comparison, a transient analysis is also shown. The simulation command statements are implemented using the “Place Text(SPICE directive)” command hotkey “T”. The video compares the netlist to the schematic for multiple versions of AC analysis.
One good resource for SPICE AC analysis is the "SPICE ALGORITHM OVERVIEW" page in the SPICE discussion on ecircuitcenter.com
https://ecircuitcenter.com/SpiceTopic...
AC ANALYSIS is down near the bottom of the page.
"INSIDE A SPICE FILE" https://ecircuitcenter.com/Basics.htm has some examples of source specification including AC and transient in one source.
