WATCH: Kyiv Erupts Against Klitschko! Protesters Demand Mayor's Resignation Over Winter Crisis

Описание: Protesters gathered outside Kyiv City Council on Saturday to demand the resignation of Mayor Vitali Klitschko, accusing his administration of mismanagement, poor road maintenance and inadequate preparations for winter. Demonstrators held placards criticising the mayor and raised concerns about emergency shelters, backup power supplies, water access and municipal spending as Ukraine faces renewed Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. Some protesters alleged corruption and questioned how city funds were being allocated, although the accusations were not independently substantiated in the supplied material. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has also criticised Kyiv's winter preparations, saying the capital is lagging behind other Ukrainian cities. Klitschko has defended the municipality's efforts and blamed the central government for delays in funding needed for the heating season. The dispute comes as concerns grow over Kyiv's ability to maintain essential services through another winter amid Russia's war against Ukraine.
