Shri Anil Swarup is Former Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Government of India
Before this assignment, in his capacity as Secretary, Ministry of Coal, he was instrumental in carrying out the auction of coal blocks that is likely to result in a revenue flow of around Rs. 3 Lakh Crore to the States. The initiatives taken by him resulted in record production of coal in the country. This production helped in tiding over the crisis created by coal shortages. he is known for his bold attitude and decision making style.
Mind Mingle National Education Conference and Awards 2018: the event was held on 19th December 2018 at Shangri-La Hotel New Delhi. Over a hundred schools from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities of India were recognized for their work in school education.
