There are many shops that are closed and for lease, and many storefronts that have pictures on them so you won’t notice that they are closed. Even though many of the shops on the Santa Monica third Street promenade are abandoned and out of business, there are still many restaurants in Business, and a lot of popular stores as well, so People visiting the third Street promenade in Santa Monica still have things to do. It’s just kind of sad to see a quarter of the stores permanently out of business and closed, with real estate agent signs on them. This video gives you a good look at the Santa Monica Promenade from one to the other, as well as the Mall at the end, where there are many empty stores as well.
