Once a year, during the first week of September, Berlin becomes the stage for a city-wide celebration of music, culminating with a spectacular two-day festival at the former Tempelhof Airport. This year headliners like Blur, the Pet Shop Boys and Bjork rocked the stage in front of a massive, enthusiastic crowd. Faithful to Berlin's spirit, the event was framed by art, creativity and the right dose of craziness: our host Sabine met Yaneq, who organized the Art Village, as well as a bunch of the usual suspects, joining them in the celebrations of the Church of Phonk.

Einmal im Jahr, während der ersten Septemberwoche, wird Berlin zum Schauplatz einer stadtweiten Zelebrierung der Musik, die in einem zweitägigem Festival auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Tempelhofer Flugfeld gipfelt. Spektakuläre internationale Acts wie Blur, die Pet Shop Boys und Bjork haben auch dieses Jahr dem Publikum kräftig eingeheizt. Dem Berliner Geist treu bleibend, wird das Event von jeder Menge Kunst, Kreativität und Wahnsinn begleitet: unsere Sabine hat Yaneq getroffen, der das Art Village organisiert hat, sowie einen Haufen der üblichen Verdächtigen, und hat sich ihnen in den Riten der Church of Phonk angeschlossen.
