Stepping inside the INS Kurusura Submarine was like entering another world. Imagine life underwater in a real decommissioned war submarine! We saw everything from the torpedo room and control panels to the cramped living quarters. It's truly humbling to see the sacrifices and ingenious engineering that go into protecting our nation's waters. Learning about its role in the 1971 Indo-Pak war gave us chills!
Right across the road, the TU-142 Aircraft Museum blew us away with its sheer scale. This massive Soviet-era maritime patrol aircraft, nicknamed the "Albatross," served the Indian Navy for nearly three decades! Walking through its colossal fuselage and seeing the intricate cockpit up close was mind-blowing. They even have VR rides that simulate flying – talk about an immersive experience!
