Govinda is a Marathi movie revolving around a young guy named Rajan Swapnil Joshi) who is an active member of famous Dahi Handi group. He and Shravani (Girija Joshi) are in love with each other and want to marry each other. However, Rajan is not settled yet and preparing for MPSC exam. Shravani wants him to concentrate on his career first but he is too obsessed with the festival of Dahihandi on Janmashtami and spends most of his time on its prepartaion with friends. Twist occurs when he falls down from the top when a tower to break a handi is formed. Watch how he and his family overcomes the situation. The movie also shows role of politicians and their dirty politics involved in the festival.
