How to Smoke Shrimp & Cajun-Blackberry Ghost Pepper Glaze | Masterbuilt Smoker

Cajun shrimp in the Masterbuilt smoker, then finished with a Blackberry Ghost Pepper glaze. How to smoke shrimp is really easy and this recipe is so simple with just a handful of ingredients.
I believe less is better when it comes to seasoning fresh seafood. I don’t want to hide the delicious flavor of the shrimp with too many seasonings.
Remove the heads and de-vein the shrimp. Place the shrimp in a disposable pan (for no fuss clean up) with ½ stick of melted butter.
Season the shrimp with Tennessee Whiskey Cajun Seasoning. Of course, you and use your favorite Cajun seasoning. I’ve used this seasoning several times before and it includes Kosher Salt, Garlic, Onion, Brown Sugar, other spices and of course Jack Daniel's Black Label Whiskey.
Smoke at 225 degrees and I am using peach wood chips. Because shrimp only need a short smoke time, I get a heavier smoke going in the smoker (to ensure I get the smoke flavor).
Smoke time for the shrimp will be approximately 20 minutes, just until the shrimp are pink.
While the shrimp were smoking, I heated Angry Goat Blackberry Ghost Pepper jelly in the microwave. Then, I pour it over the shrimp. Go ahead and use your favorite pepper jelly, but I do recommend a berry-based pepper jelly.
