This is a very traditional medicinal comfort tea in Japan. Traditionally we only use kombu, umeboshi and hotwater. Store-bought premade Umekobucha has usually msg in it. I love making my own with healthy ingredients.
Home-made Umeboshi with good salt and proper fermentation is super alkaline-forming food. This tea helps boost up your immunity when you add a little bit of fresh finger juice.
Good source of Umeboshi
