In this video I share my initial impressions of the Smith & Wesson Model 442 snub-nose revolver. The 442 is chambered for .38 Special +P ammunition. It has a capacity of 5 rounds in the cylinder. This compact revolver weighs in at just under 15 ounces and has an overall length of 6.3 inches.
The 442 Revolver has a snag free enclosed hammer design. This means that the revolver can only be fired in double action mode.
My particular 442 has 2 unique features. Both of which are factor features. First, this revolver has no trigger lock. Second, the cylinder of this handgun is machined to accept full moon clips.
