Our Adventure in Finland.
The majority of people will head to Levi or other places. We found Ruka quieter and more of the Finnish experience we wanted. We specifically chose this part of Finland Ruktunturi because of its walks.
This videos features Walk in Oulanka National Park one of the most famous in these parts.
Pieni Karhunkierros Trail, 12 km, Circle Trail. Money Saving tip: Get a good App and your phone and head off Northern lights spotting by car at night. We were rewarded if you head 15mins out of town and stay with it, it will come if you are patient.
We spent 5 days here in Ruka but wish it was more.
We used Kota Huskies, and did the 20km Holy Trees Safari. Worth every penny!
