First Time Boondocking (No RV Batteries)

Описание: This was our first time boondocking and our first real experience camping completely off grid in our RV.

We headed out to the state park to try dry camping without hookups and without traditional RV batteries. Instead, we relied on portable power and solar while learning how to manage electricity in a real-world camping situation. Throughout the video, I monitor our power consumption and walk through what it’s like trying to conserve energy while off grid for the first time.

If you’re new to RV life or curious about boondocking, this trip gives an honest look at what it’s like to camp without shore power, manage limited electricity, and figure things out as you go. We talk about what worked, what we would do differently, and how close we came to running out of power before morning.

While camping off grid, we also take time to explore the state park on our electric scooters, enjoy the quiet surroundings, and settle into slower RV life. One of the highlights of the trip was simple camp cooking — grilling stuffed chicken breast at our campsite and enjoying a peaceful evening outdoors.
