This time I had some fun spincasting, AKA centrifugal lost wax casting! Give me a 👍,subscribe and hit the 🔔, there's more to come!
The video is pretty self explanatory, I carved the sparrow from a block of wax, then attached the canal and put everything on a wax base (I used a tea candle I had around). The next step was a bit more tricky, I had to cover the wax with investment (I don't have a vacuum chamber so I improvised). Then I just heated the cylinder to get the wax out then heated it a bit more and put it in my spincaster (AKA centrifugal lost wax casting machine thingy) I melted the metal and spun it. The rest was just making a base for the pendant and soldering the sparrow on it.
