The United Nation Secretary General told an emergency meeting of the Security Council last night that the world was witnessing a grave threat to international peace and security after the military escalation in the Middle East. Antonio Guterres has condemned US and Israeli strikes against Iran while also condemning the retaliatory strikes that have seen missiles and drones launches at several US basis in the region. This as US President Donald Trump continues to threaten Iran with further escalation where they to follow through with their threats to continue targeting US interests after asserting Tehran's right to self-defence.
