SA issued pistols are most commonly Walther PP's. But this one is a very rare SA Gruppe Thüringen marked Sauer. It is believed these were given to SA leaders as a "teaser" to get them to order more for their members. Since only a few dozen are known to exist it is assumed that this attempt to get an SA contract must have failed. The gun comes with a beautifully marked SA Akah holster as well.
