The oil leak from the valve cover gasket will allow the oil to get burned once it gets on the exhaust manifold ; from there the oil burned smell will get into the cabin when you turn the air condition on . In some severe cases will not pass the periodical inspection or it might loose a lot of oil during a long journey .
