The Cabbage Patch Kids Baby So Real baby doll gives a new look to the classic Cabbage Patch Kids dolls. This doll features expressive eyes and makes more than 60 sounds to give little mommies and daddies a more realistic baby play experience. The 14-inch doll comes with an interactive spoon, an interactive bottle, and a removable diaper with sensor.

There are two ways to play: with or without the free Baby So Real app. Without the app, kids take care of Baby So Real just like a real baby. Give the doll the bottle to hear the doll drink and say phrases, such as, “Yummy!” Lightly pat the doll’s back to hear the doll burp. Give the doll a diaper change by removing and then replacing the diaper. The doll will say phrases such as, “All better!” once it has a “fresh” diaper. If the doll’s cheeks glow red, that means you’ve got to give the baby medicine with the spoon. Watch the purple liquid disappear, and when the doll’s cheeks stop glowing, you’ll the doll say, “Feel better!” Kids can also tickle the bottoms of the doll’s feet to hear the doll giggle and talk, or play peek-a-boo with the doll for more sounds and phrases. When it’s time to go to sleep, rock the doll and lay it down for a nap. Like a real baby, the doll might not go to sleep at first, but eventually the doll will close its eyes, yawn, and say good night phrases.

For even more play, download the free iOS and Android Baby So Real app to simulate a baby monitor and play games with the baby doll via a Bluetooth connection between the doll and the app. You can use the app without the doll, but connecting the doll is part of the fun. Follow the on-screen prompts to feed, burp, change, and play with your baby doll. And as you do these things for the physical baby doll, you’ll see the on-screen baby do the same things. As you care for your baby doll, you’ll earn Baby Points within the app that you can use to purchase new outfits, accessories, and toys for the virtual baby as well as virtual elements for the baby’s nursery. You also earn Baby Points when you play the app’s games.

And like all Cabbage Patch Kids dolls, Baby So Real comes with a birth certificate and adoption papers.

There are three different Baby So Real dolls: Caucasian and African-American dolls in cat pajamas, and a Caucasian brunette doll in poodle pajamas.
