You guys have seen us tear down this 1957 GMC Stepside and do a whole ton of metal work to get this thing looking and feeling like a truck again. Well, the time has finally come to actually make this LS swapped step side, well, an LS swapped Stepside! We're tearing down our LS3 engine and installing a Texas Speed and Performance Chop Monster cam along with all of the supporting upgrades to our top end! And once our engine is built and ready to roll, we're rolling in a brand new Roadstershop Spec series chassis, installing our Wildwood brake kit so we can get our Gunniwheels on, and then setting our cab in place. And to top the episode off, we're even mounting our freshly built LS3 along with the transmission into the chassis!
The next step of this built is putting the step back in "step side" with some new bedsides from AMD, mounting our fenders and bumper to work on our cooling, and getting all of our other components mounted up before stripping this truck down for paint.
