A quiet note inspired by the spiritual witness of Saints Timothy and Titus:

Bishops

Saint Timothy (1st century – c. 96) and Saint Titus (c. AD 17 – c. AD 97) were among the most faithful disciples and close collaborators of Saint Paul. Entrusted with leadership in the early Church, Paul appointed Timothy as bishop of Ephesus and Titus as bishop of Crete.

To guide them in their pastoral mission, Paul wrote letters offering wisdom, encouragement, and instruction for both pastors and communities. These writings, known as the Pastoral Epistles, are included in the New Testament and continue to shape the Church’s understanding of faithful leadership and care for souls.

Saint Timothy is honored as the patron saint of those suffering from intestinal and stomach ailments, while Saint Titus is remembered as the patron saint of the island of Crete.
