Denny Hamlin just broke his silence on the Joe Gibbs Racing $8 MILLION lawsuit against Chris Gabehart - his former crew chief!
Hamlin's reaction: "It's disappointing to read. I was not aware of all the things that were kind of going on behind the scenes."
Hamlin is caught in the MIDDLE - Gabehart was his crew chief for 6 YEARS (22 wins together!), but he still drives for JGR! IMPOSSIBLE position!
Hamlin explained why teams protect info: "No one person owns any information. The engineers, the aero department - there's so many departments that contribute. No one person has the right to take it anywhere."
Hamlin's WARNING: "Joe Gibbs Racing is willing to go to court. I think they're pretty serious. Joe ain't looking to fight anyone."
JGR wants to BAN Gabehart from Spire for 18 MONTHS and recover all stolen data!
