Deep in the wild forest, where the silence was broken only by the howling of icy winds, I had brought very little gear with me. At an altitude of 2,300 meters, among the yew trees, the temperature dropped to -15°C, and the cold wind pierced straight through me.
No tent. No sleeping bag. No thermal clothing. Just me, snow-covered trees, and the bitter cold.
Cooking in such freezing weather is a real challenge. I try to eat high-calorie, fatty foods to keep my body warm—and that’s exactly what I did on this trip.
I grilled meat over a handmade wooden grill, woven from branches I gathered in the forest.
This was a raw and real survival experience—no fancy equipment, no backup plan.
