DAL1661 was on the takeoff roll at Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport, when they experienced a right engine failure. They stopped on the runway and requested fire truck assistance. They eventually taxied back to the gate without further incident. Runway 30R was closed for inspection. Engine parts were found on the runway.
