Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MPs staged a protest in Parliament, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The MPs called for 65% reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Extremely Backward Classes, and urged that the provision be added to the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution. Congress MP Rajeev Shukla joined the protest in solidarity.
