This is the Oldest Passenger transporting Bus of SLTB now. Bus is a 46 years old Ashok Leyland Viking 36 Seater one. Model is Ashok Leyland ALPSV 1/3. This legend giving service to Sri Lanka Transport Board since 1977. Firstly this bus operate under SLTB Panadura Depot and then operate under SLTB Kalutara Depot. After that this bus given to SLTB Mathugama Depot. Now this bus operating under SLTB Mathugama depot under MG 51 fleet number. This is an Aluminum bodied Bus. That is the main reason for this kind of durability. Body of this bus made by Werahera SLTB Workshop in Sri Lanka. Panadura - Ketawatta (via Badulla) service started from this bus. Bus have a great history.

Now this bus operating between Mathugama - Kalawana & Mathugama - Ilukpotha Routes. 173 km covering within one day.
