Gourd ART
This project is quite time consuming, but worth it when you see the end product.
The materials to create the gourd is as follow:
Gourd
Dremel
Drilling bit
Wood cutter
Sanding bit
Gold spraypaint
Red spraypaint
Gold paint
Leather string
Leather pieces
Charms
Beads
Follow the steps:
1. Draw the pattern you want to remove on your gourd.
2. Use your dremel with your wood cutting disc, cut out 1 cm away from the gourd.
3. Use your sanding bit and work away until you reach the line.
4. Drill holes 1cm apart around the edges, using your drilling bit.
5. Spraypaint the inside of your gourd using gold spraypaint.
6. Spraypaint the outside of your gourd using red spraypaint.
7. Use gold paint and go inside the holes creating a gold border in the holes.
8. Cut leather pieces.
9. String through the holes using your leather String and attach the leather around the border.
10. Attach charms and beads to your dreamcatcher.
This project would take about 2 days to finish. You can use any colours on your gourd and use a different patterns.
