Making a Wood Klingon Bat'leth

This week, I turned an old wood table leave into a Klingon Bat'leth. I got the wood leave (used to make a table longer) from a neighbor that was throwing it away.
I started by drawing the Bat'leth in autocad, then tracing that onto the wood. I cut the Bat'leth out with my jigsaw and then sanded it a lot. I used a palm router to get the blade edge, and then sanded again. Used a maple finish before sealing it with polyurethane.
