The first part is characterized by sixteenth-note triplets.
[Bars 2-3] Slide between strings 2 and 3: finger 1 (2nd fret, note F#), after the open note B, slides down one fret and moves down to note D.
[Bars 12-13] Slide between strings 3 and 2;
finger 1 (9th fret, note E) moves back to the 3rd fret and then changes strings.
[Bars 15-16] Same movement between strings 1 and 2.
[Bar 18] The open note B does not allow the slide to be heard.
[Bars 28-29] By using finger 2 (instead of 3)
on note D (3rd string, 7th fret), you can comfortably move to the 2nd fret and, not only that, you can move to note G (8th fret), as described below.
Slide between strings 3 and 2:
Finger 3 (9th fret, note E) slides back to the 7th fret, where it lands on the note F#, with a twist of the wrist.
[Bars 32-33] Slide between strings 3 and 2:
Finger 2 (2nd fret, note A) slides back to the 8th fret,
where it lands on the note G.
