Closing arguments in the case against Brendan Banfield began on Friday. He is accused of killing his wife, Christine, and another man inside their home in February 2023. The state claimed that Brendan was the one who killed both his wife and Joseph Ryan. They also say that he was in love with his au pair, Juliana Peres Magalhães, and needed to get rid of his wife so they could be together.
