In this context, Nadia Calviño, First Vice President and Minister of Economy of Spain, and Fernando Medina, Minister of Finance of Portugal, will discuss the economic challenges facing Europe, with a special focus on the effectiveness, fairness and sustainability of public support to families and companies, the urgency of growth enhancing policies that promote Europe's competitiveness, the reform of the economic governance framework and the priorities of the Spanish presidency, which will take place in the second half of 2023.
