In Emaan's words, here's how it all started:

"When one of my best friends told me about her embarrassing date blunder, I definitely laughed at first, but the more I thought about it the more upset it made me. Why should we as women be made to feel embarrassed or ashamed of the natural things that happen to us and our bodies? We walk around with a little secret stash of tampons, pads, or intimate wipes, never allowing them to see the light of day. Often tucking them into our sleeves or pockets before we head to the bathroom to handle our business. But why? What is so wrong with a woman being on her period, or wanting to freshen up for an unexpected encounter? It really made me think of the reasons why women do this, and why society has taught us to be ashamed of things like body odor or periods. It made me want to create a wipe that not only made women feel refreshed but something beautiful they could proudly carry around as their little not-so-secret weapon.

This first product is a special one. The Quickie is one of the first I started working on for KETISH. It all started with this idea to create products that women were proud to carry. I no longer wanted women to feel shame or embarrassment in using feminine and intimate wellness products, if she so chooses. I wanted to create a brand that unapologetically worked to break down these stigmas and expectations that surround women and the way we care for our bodies."
