“El Olimpo de los Dioses” es una Suite dividida en diez movimientos, donde en cada uno de ellos quedan representados musicalmente uno o varios de los doce dioses del Olimpo.

La Suite comienza con un gran “trueno”, que representa la fuerza y energía del gran Dios ZEUS, padre de los dioses. Este trueno, será el hilo conductor de la obra, el cual se escuchará cada vez que “Zeus” dé paso a conocer a cada uno de sus hijos.

II. “Artemisa” - Diosa de la naturaleza y animales salvajes

III. “Hades” - Dios de los Muertos

IV. “Poseidón” - Dios del mar y los terremotos

V. “Deméter” - Diosa de la Agricultura

VI. “Hefesto” - Dios del fuego y la forja

VII. “Apolo” - Dios de la música, belleza y perfección

VIII. “Afrodita” - Diosa de la sexualidad, lujuria y deseo

IX. “Ares y Atenea” - Dioses de la guerra

X. “Zeus y Hera” - Rey y Reina de los dioses

Summary

“The Gods’ Olympus” is a symphonic suite divided in ten movements, each one of them representing one of the twelve deities in Olympus.

The suite begins with a strong “thunder” sound, which represents the power and strength of the great God Zeus, Father of Gods. This “thunder” sound will be the connecting thread between movements, and it will be heard each time that Zeus introduces a different God in Olympus.

III. “Hades” – God of the Death

IV. “Poseidon” – God of the Sea and the Earthquakes

V. “Demeter” – Goddess of Agriculture

VI. “Hephaestus” – God of fire and forging

VII. “Apollo” – God of beauty, music and perfection

VIII. “Aphrodite” – Goddess of sexuality, lust and desire

IX. “Ares & Athena” – Gods of War

X. “Zeus y Hera” – God and Goddess of Gods
