A film by Pritam Debnath, Ashish Joseph, and Aditya Arun Bhat.
Behind The Scenes Productions.
Rex theatre has been an iconic theatre in Bangalore for the past seven decades, located on the very popular Brigade Road.
It embodies a lot of sweet and sour memories for the residents of Bangalore.
It was a hub for college students for a cheap getaway and also to watch English films,
and this tradition had been going on since the 70s.
It was very heart-breaking to see it shut down after so long
and we planned to pay a tribute to it by shooting a documentary.
We would like to thank our HOD Rajkumar Johnson for supporting and guiding us. We would also like to thank the Rex Kapur family and their staff for their co-operation and hospitality.
We have used some audio and video clips from the Kannada movie KGF and the copyrights belongs to them, we are not claiming any of it.
This film is made by the students of the Communication Department, Bachelor of Visual Communication, of St Joseph's College (Autonomous) Bangalore.
