Описание: When everything goes wrong, we often ask ourselves, “What can we do?” Akira Buldac, however, argues that the question should be “How can we do it?” This fellow KMIDS student from Bangkok, Thailand, explores how constraints allow innovation to blossom, sparking the creative ideas that transform life-threatening moments to life-changing ones. Akira emphasizes how innovation is a journey, one with many obstacles, and the achievements come from how these challenges are overcome instead of where the person ends up. As a coder, Akira has his fair share of working with slow laptops with limited capacity, and he uses this story to share how he himself uses the constraints in his life to expand the horizons of his imagination and become a better coder. This isn’t the only story he shares, though. From discussing the Apollo 13 mission to Michelangelo’s statue of David, this tech and art enthusiast shows how this mindset is applicable to many dimensions of work and life. As Akira continues to use this principle in his daily life, he wishes to inspire others to do their best. Innovation Starts when Comfort Ends This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
