Saving Seeds - Wisteria

Описание: I really enjoy the smell of the wisteria flowers and the creeping nature of the plant has always made it one of my favorites in the yard and garden. Lucky for me our rental home has a very old and well established wisteria growing right along the fenceline. Flowers, greenery and privacy all from one happy plant!
In nine years of living here this is the first year I have ever noticed the pods growing on the wisteria, which is convenient as I hope to have a wisteria to grow on our own property one day! So of course I just have to try and save some seeds from it now that I know they are there ...
The first ones I cracked open where nowhere near ready yet but it was still early to mid summer. Now, about 2 weeks into fall, the seed pods have hardened and look like they will have viable seeds inside for me. Time to take them inside and open them up!
I was able to get six healthy looking seeds in total from this years collection of seed pods but since I do have 2 small wisteria growing in my no power aquaponic garden I can part with a few of these. So ... comment below if you would like a couple of these and we can PM to work out the details!
