I know this is super late. Got occupied with Sportsball. However, I had to pay tribute to an outstanding World Series in some way. It was an epic that deserved a hell of a lot more than seven minutes, but I don't know if I can do it justice. This series is what baseball is all about: Excellence on display at all angles, and classics that we will talk about for decades to come. Games three, six, and seven were the peak of the sport itself.
Yet for every victor, there is a team that must experience the agony of defeat. Unfortunately for Toronto, they got much more of it than they bargained for. The Blue Jays got anguish that may identify with their franchise for a long time. A great season scarred by trauma. It could take a while to heal from. Ask the Atlanta Falcons.
This video is in tribute to one of the greatest World Series I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing in my lifetime. Up there with 2017, 2016, and 2011, for sure.
