Shem was alive at the time when Melchizedek met Abraham, as he outlived Abraham by 35 years. Shem was a devout and godly man and received the blessing from Noah, who said, "Blessed be the Lord God of Shem." Melchizedek, in Genesis 14, held two offices: king and priest of the Most High God. The dual authority of civil and religious power was invested in the Adamic race, in Adam and his descendants. Shem received this authority from Noah, and it was passed down to Abram.

In Psalm 110, David prophesied that Jesus Christ would be a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. Jesus fulfilled the order of Melchizedek while on earth and now possesses civil and religious authority. He is the rightful king of the Israel Nations, including the United States, Great Britain, Canada, and Northwestern European people, who are the true Israelites of God. However, these nations have rejected Jesus Christ as their king, and this is the reason why they are having so much trouble.

In conclusion, the order of Melchizedek is a crucial topic for every believer to understand. It reveals the dual authority of civil and religious power invested in the Adamic race, which was passed down to Jesus Christ. Jesus is the rightful king of the Israel Nations, and we must acknowledge Him as our king if we want to live under His blessing and protection.
