Recorded as part of a residency at Cecil Sharp House, supported by a bursary from EFDSS. Outside Time is the title track of Tarren's second studio album, released in September 2024.
Tarren investigated gender variance within folk music as part of this residency and composed the song Neither Maid nor Man which celebrates non-traditional gender roles.
Outside Time is a set of two tunes. The first is 'Tiennet', written by the master hurdy-gurdy player Partick Bouffard. The second is 'Flow' written by Alex.
Tarren is on tour in September and October 2025
