The journey back to the city: Shariatpur to Dhaka.
After a great stay at my village home, it’s time to head back. In this video, I’m driving my Toyota Prius from Sakhipur, Shariatpur back to Dhaka. Recorded on February 14, 2026, this 3-hour dashcam footage captures the full route as I transition from the quiet village roads back to the busy streets of the capital.
Route Breakdown:
Starting from Sakhipur and passing through Kartikpur.
Driving through the scenic areas of Naria, Bhojessor, and Premtola.
Crossing the Padma Multipurpose Bridge heading toward Mawa.
Final stretch on the Mawa Highway to enter Dhaka.
This return trip was smooth and took exactly 3 hours. It's always interesting to see how the landscape changes from the greenery of Shariatpur to the urban skyline of Dhaka.
