A level crossing on the relatively short line between Coventry and Nuneaton (also connecting two separate parts of the West Coast Main Line) situated at the edge of the village of Hawkesbury just outside of Coventry. The vital M6 Motorway passes over the line via a flyover just south of this skewed level crossing, which in its current form dates back to circa. 2009. Both alarms are on the same side of the road, could really do with being at least a little louder, and one of these has a new old-stock sounder. For a level crossing with all four barriers having supporter arms, this one has a remarkably clean track record for barriers striking the floor, and none of them do so in either video on this date filmed at around 11AM on the shortest day of the year when the Sun had barely risen.
