Today morning on the homestead
In this video from Stoney Acres, I make the hour-and-a-half drive to
Sunnyside Creamery to grab some fresh milk and after that I stop in at Willow Mills to pick up a half a tote bag of dry sow feed to keep the pigs well supplied. and then head on back home and unload the feed.
When you live a ways out, a supply run turns into a full morning trip. I also stop in the city to grab a few essentials before making the drive back to the farm.
This is just part of homestead life — planning ahead, putting in the miles, and making sure everything and everyone here at Stoney Acres is taken care of .Thanks for coming along.
