While I had the 2022 Chevy Bolt EV for review, I decided to run it through a 1,000 km (621.4 mi) speed challenge. This is a test that @bjornnyland runs on EVs out in Norway, so I like to run these tests to gather additional data points and to compare results.
I ran into some unexpected issues on this trip, though, and the 2022 Bolt EV behaved very differently than my personal 2017 Bolt EV and the 2020 Bolt EV that I reviewed in the past. GM definitely has some work to do in order to finalize the charging profile and battery temperature parameters for the Bolt EV, and this will be especially important as the 66 kWh packs are rolled out to all Bolt EV model years.
