On September 24, 2022, I had the privilege of playing with Yuniversal Band at a gala evening for the Bosnian & Herzegovinian women's basketball squad. The team was here in Sydney for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup. It was a short set for us, but we had a great time nonetheless, and the crowd was just amazing!
Side note: that night I got to meet team captain Milica Deura, who is an absolute sweetheart! I gave her an autographed drum skin to cheer her up after the team's loss to Korea. I also met one of my heroes of the folk music scene, Semir Cerić Koke - to say I fucking fangirled in front of him would be an understatement!!
