John Mayer is a master of legato! I had never really associated John Mayer with legato before, but after studying his music for quite some time now, I've noticed that quite a lot of his phrases involve legato in some form. In this video I'll show you how to play a few of my favourite phrases that I've learnt from him. P.S - there's even a tapping / legato lick in there which is very cool!!
