Master is the hardest difficulty, though the developers have indicated that a new Hardcore mode will come in a future free DLC (as well as some new playable characters and other goodies). Master difficulty seems to throw more enemies at you and the boss fights tend to be a bit more difficult. I also think the last level is much harder than on default.

Aros is the resident grappler and he has access to a very useful Spinning Pile-driver (SPD), which he can use to finish opponents, land on other enemies, and/or escape dangerous positions. It's also a lot of fun and looks awesome, with his signature scream "Painkiller" being an instant classic. Aros dash is also super useful. Landing from a dash counts as a hit, knocking opponents into the air. You can choose to combo the enemy, or grab and inflict some punishment via the aforementioned SPD. I use this tactic a lot as you will see in the video. There is also an invincible mode which is extremely strong and useful vs the bosses. I find waiting to transform until you know you can kill the boss to be a sound strategy.

The game is great. At first it seems to be a button masher, but mindlessly mashing buttons will quickly lead to death. There is quite a lot of techniques and strategy to learn. Like all the best bet em ups, spacing and crowd control is essential. I highly recommend any arcade action or beat em ups fans to give it a try.

Play time at completion: 21.4 hours over 5 weeks. Including play time to give you an idea of what to expect on the difficulty. I am an experienced beat em up player, but by no means a super player or expert.
