From January 2025 to May 2025, there was no train service between The Rockaways and Manhattan. Free shuttle buses ran in 2 routes:
1. Q109 from Beach 67 St-Arverne By The Sea to Howard Beach-JFK Airport, making a stop at Beach 90 St-Holland and Broad Channel
2. Q97 from Far Rockaway-Mott Av to Howard Beach-JFK Airport, making no stops
