🎨 WHAT IS THIS?
This is a demonstration of Simultaneous Contrast. I am using the exact same spray paint (Orange) on two different backgrounds.
On Blue (its complement), the orange vibrates. It looks bright and electric.
On Yellow (its neighbor), the orange looks dull and heavy.
🧠 WHY IT MATTERS:
Most beginners struggle because they try to mix the “perfect color” on the palette. But a color only works when it hits the canvas next to its neighbors. Painting teaches your brain to stop looking at objects and start looking at relationships.
👤 WHO IS THIS FOR?
This is for anyone who wants to move beyond “guessing” with color. Whether you are a total beginner or a designer looking to understand optics, my course breaks down the science of seeing.
