The Pali Lookout is a popular tourist destination of the Pali Highway, but do you know the history?
🔺The lookout is the site of the Battle of Nu’uanu in 1795. The battle was part of King Kamehameha I’s campaign to unify the Hawaiian Islands.
🔺Hundreds of warriors were pushed over the lookout to their death. It is said their lost souls wander this area after dark.
