In this video, I take a break from painting tiny stabby Skaven and dive into something a little more chill: painting Warhammer Underworlds terrain!
This is the Primal Lair set from the Beastgrave era, and it includes six awesome little terrain pieces — perfect for adding flavour and drama to your Underworlds games or Warcry boards.

Sometimes you just want to chill and paint weird terrain with glowing rocks and bubbling goo. That’s exactly what I do here with the Beastgrave Primal Lair set. I go through all six pieces, test out some fun colours, and talk through the thought process. Grab a coffee (or paintbrush) and hang out.

From bubbling toxic lakes and glowing warpstone crystals to scorched skulls and bellowing smoke plumes, I had a blast trying out different painting techniques and textures you don’t often see on models. Terrain is one of my favourite ways to unwind while still learning something new — it’s lower pressure, but still super rewarding.
