Palming cards is one of the oldest techniques used at the card table. Whether this is to switch cards, retain cards or introduce new additional cards to the game the concept of palming is ever present. Personally, I tend to use palming in combination with other sleight of hand techniques, all in the pursuit of beating the cut from another player who is not your partner.
